Delicious breakfast with a view
Woke up to a rich buffet breakfast that had everything from hot pancakes to fresh fruits. The metro station was just steps away.
My only complaint was that I paid a hefty fine for an unvalidated tram ticket. Some clearer signage or instructions would have been helpful for first-time visitors.

I have already written a review of the hotel in June 2010. Don't have much to add. A very good value for money, very comfortable and clean rooms, free high-speed internet (network cable only in the rooms), very good location (next to the metro station and major tram ), decent breakfasts, etc. A very pleasant and professional receptionist Jana Cikankova. Unfortunately, she is not working every day:), but the others are not bad either.
The only thing I don't like is the cigarette smell in even what's supposed to be non-smoking rooms. During my previous stay I asked to cahgned my first room because of the smell. The second one was much better and without noticable cigarette smell. This time changing didn't help much. The smell was there in the second room too. This can be an issue in wither time, when you cannot have the window open for a longer time.

Check-in and check-out were quick n efficient. When I requested extra pillows and iron, they were promptly delivered to my room. Hotel is literally next to the metro. Location is far away from the noisy crowds of the tourist center but in a very safe neighborhood. 3 blocks from a big mall with a hypermart. Free internet had good speeds. They stowed our bags after check out which was very helpful since our flight was much later in the day. Receptionist also helped us book tours.
Very basic, no-frills hotel. No bathtub, only standing shower. Pillows were flat n useless. Towels were raggedy n smelled of smoke. Tv had maybe 4 English channels: cnn, Discovery Travel and 2 showing useless D-grade movies. Very limited variety at breakfast but constantly refilled. There was not enough counter space in the room, I would have liked some sort of side table. Kettle n cups provided but no coffee or tea packets. "Double" bed was 2 single beds pushed together.

This is what stood out
The location is amazing, with a metro station right outside and a supermarket in the building. The staff is friendly and helpful, accommodating my room change request. Breakfast offers great variety, and rooms are spacious and warm. An ideal base for exploring the city without the tourist hustle!

My second stay in this hotel, both of them great, right on metro Andel, close to centre, shops, nice staff, ok breakfast, nice view, not noisy at night.
Nothing significant, pretty much all was in order.

Pleasant good basic hotel, particularly nice views of Prague castle. Fully renovated rooms with a contemporary decor, extremely comfy beds with feather pillows. Good location, minutes from some attractions, like a tower and a castle. Set in front of a subway station in the lively area. Savoury and hot breakfast.

Great value for money. Nice view to the city if you get a good room and located just in front of the metro station Andel so you can get in the very center in 10 min.
Only one lift. Don't use the others you may get stuck.

Convenient metro access right outside for easy city travel. Supermarket located next door for quick snack runs.
Rooms are on the 6th floor. Air conditioning struggles to keep up, and you have to keep the key card in the slot. Otherwise, it turns off when you leave. The breakfast lacks variety with limited options and the cleaning in the bathroom could be better.

Very nice room for a great price with air conditioner, mini-bar and free internet. Located quite near by city center. Great, forthcoming receptionist-lady. Good breakfast.
Balcony was quite dirty.

It was quiet during my stay, so I got the necessary rest. The staff was helpful in solving the problems occured. Quick reaction, so I was very pleased. Very good location, the entry to the metro station right infront of the hotel, very convinient and the scheme of the metro very simple. The old town centre only in 4 metro stops, so I got there about in 20 min. Very good hotel for the guest who is visiting Prague for the first time, and also not the first time. Convivnient to get home quickly after tiring day in the city.
The facilities need maintenance. The floor carpet was dirty

Extremely close to the metro, allowing you to be in Old Town within 5-10 minutes. Also, a cheap but wonderful restaurant is about a block away,we ate there every night! Upon check-in, you receive a free city map which helped me and my boyfriend navigate the city. Room was clean, some English channels along with some German ones.
Breakfast was a bit meager and the juice was obviously watered down. Ended up going to Starbucks two mornings for breakfast.
